Stores that have a “real” store in California or web stores that are located in the State of California are required to collect sales tax of 8.25%. If this applies to your order we will revise your invoice to add the sales tax and charge you accordingly. At the last page of checkout you are required to check the box that indicates that you are aware that California sales tax may be added to your order if applicable. Even though your order will be shipped outside of the USA, it is shipped to our California depot first and as such the stores HAVE to charge the tax. (you can find out beforehand if the store you are buying from charges CA sales tax by checking out their customer service or help pages).

Since your parcel has to be delivered to our depot first it is likely that there will be a domestic shipment fee. If this applies to your order we will revise your invoice to add the domestic shipment fee and charge you accordingly.

Our shipping and handling fees are not separate. They are combined on your order and are automatically calculated by our system and depend on the total amount we spend on your behalf and how many items are in your order. If your order has multiple items a small extra shipment fee will be added for each item. Prices vary per store and per country. Each country has its own shipping base fees. So the best way to find out how much your order is going to cost is to actually put the order through our calculator. (You will be able to see your total before your order is final and at that point you can decide if wish to place the order or not). Our handling and processing fee is calculated over the total we spend on your behalf.

An additional handling fee of $7.50 per store will be added to your order but ONLY if you are buying from more than 2 stores.

Protecting the user´s credit card integrity is of utmost importance. To minimize the risks associated with card-not-present transactions, International Checkout may require its users to:
- Present the copies of the original credit card and photo ID
- Sign a release form when retrieving the package

When you use International Checkout, all orders are insured against loss or damage. The cost of this insurance is included in your International Checkout shipping and handling fee.

You are responsible for all and any applicable duties and taxes in the destination country those are not included in your total from International Checkout , unless you chose to have all duties and taxes included on your order at checkout. If a shipment is rejected by you because of customs clearance charges or gets returned to us due to restrictions your country has in place regarding the importation of the goods you purchased with our assistance, you will be held liable for return shipment and/or all other miscellaneous fees incurred by us that are associated with that return.

All transactions are in American Dollars. Your credit card, Paypal or bank statement however will show our charge in your local currency. The dollar amount in your invoice will be converted to your local currency on the day that you make your payment. Our currency conversion tool at the checkout page is meant to give you an estimate, NOT a guaranteed rate. You can request that day’s exchange rate with the appropriate financial institution.

Sometimes an order that we have placed on your behalf may be backordered or out of stock. This may happen despite the fact that at the time of purchase item availability was verified with the store. Part of an order may be placed on backorder by the store while they await merchandise from their supplier. If this happens we will notify you of the delay. Cancellation is subject to a cancellation fee (please see below). We are not responsible for delays in your order due to backorder situations. Shipments will be made when all items in your order have arrived at our depot. We do not make partial shipments.

We provide a service and are not a regular store. As such we cannot accept cancellations or changes to your order once your order has been placed and we have charged your credit card.

International Checkout reserves the right to refuse fulfillment of a product transaction in respect to any product or quantity of products, or the purchase of products from any online retailer, based solely on its own discretion and in accordance to any and all US and international laws. This right shall exist at all times, even after an order confirmation has been placed. We are not responsible for shipments that are returned by customs officials due to restrictions and refunds for such returns will not be issued. If you wish to return or exchange an item do NOT contact the store directly. All returns/exchanges are handled by International Checkout. Please follow the detailed instructions below. Make sure you have read and agree with the return policy of the store(s) you are purchasing from as these are the policies you will need to abide by if you wish to return an item. We charge a handling fee of $10 for returns and $15 for exchanges. If you wish to return merchandise for a refund or exchange you must follow these steps:

• Step 1 - Include a copy of your original order in the box and underline the items you are returning.
• Step 2 - On the copy of your original order please write if you wish to receive a refund or exchange the item. If you wish to exchange the item make sure to write on the copy of your invoice what size/ color you want to exchange for.

• REFUND - If you request a refund you will be refunded for the original purchase price, minus shipment cost of the merchandise back to the store we purchased it from on your behalf. *Refund Shipment Fees are typically $10 - $15 back to the store. So this amount will be deducted from your refund.
• EXCHANGE - If you request an exchange you will pay for all shipment fees. This includes shipment fees of the exchange back to the store and shipment fees of the correct size/color back to us (unless the store has a free return / exchange policy). We will bill you via your original payment method for any additional shipment that may apply. *Exchange Shipment Fees are typically $20 - $30 (shipment to the store for the return shipment of the merchandise and shipment of the exchanged merchandise back to our depot unless the store has a free exchange program) and additional actual International shipment fee back to you.
• DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE – In the event that the merchandise is defective or damaged you can return it for an exchange or refund. We have to follow the policy of the store you purchased from. *Our assistance in this matter is free but you are responsible for all associated shipping fees.
